Our Mulling Spices are designed to be simmered to allow their natural, essential oils to release and infuse into a delicious drink to sip and savor with friends.

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles red wine or 1 quart apple cider
  • 1 orange or apple, sliced
  • 3 tbsp soft brown sugar (for red wine version only)
  • 1 Mulling Spices sachet

Instructions

  1. Slow Cook: 1) Pour the wine/cider into the cooker; add the orange/apple and sugar (if using). 2) Submerge the Mulling Spices sachet in the liquid and leave to steep. 3) Cover and cook on LOW: 4 hours or HIGH: 2 hours. 4) Can be left on the warm setting for the rest of the day.

Tips

Substitute pomegranate juice for the wine for a fruity festive alternative.
